Dr. Kristen Michelson is an Associate Professor of French and Applied Linguistics at Texas Tech University, where she directs the French language program. Her work focuses on integrating digital tools and cultural analysis into second language education, emphasizing multiliteracies and intercultural communication. She holds a Ph.D. from the University of Arizona and teaches courses on L2 acquisition, technology in language learning, and L2 literacies.
