Kendall Ho is a Professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine at the University of British Columbia (UBC) and lead of Digital Emergency Medicine. He serves as Executive Director of the Technology Enabled Knowledge Translation Investigative Centre (TEKTIC) and Vice President of the International Association of Humanitarian Medicine. Previously, he was founding Director of the eHealth Strategy Office (until 2015) and Associate Dean of the Division of Continuing Professional Development and Knowledge Translation (CPD/KT) at UBC. His research focuses on Technology Enabled Knowledge Translation (TEKT), leveraging ICT to bridge healthcare evidence and practice. Key areas include telehealth, patient safety, ICT-driven public engagement, and eHealth policy. He collaborates with the WHO eHealth Observatory and holds leadership roles in academic and professional organizations. Dr. Ho has secured grants from provincial, national, and international bodies, with publications and textbook chapters in eHealth and eLearning. His work emphasizes accelerating evidence-based healthcare through technology integration.
