Dr. Geneviève C. Digby is an Associate Professor in the Department of Medicine at Queen’s University, with a cross-appointment in the Department of Oncology. She serves as the Interim Co-Chair of the Division of Respirology and holds roles such as Medical Director for Patient Safety, Quality, and Clinical Risk at Kingston Health Sciences Centre. Her clinical expertise includes respirology, bronchoscopy, and lung cancer diagnostics, particularly leading the Lung Diagnostic Assessment Program. She is dedicated to Quality Improvement (QI) in healthcare, focusing on streamlined care processes and resource optimization for cancer patients. Dr. Digby completed her medical training at Queen’s University, including a residency in Internal Medicine, a fellowship in Respirology, and an MSc in Healthcare Quality. She has been recognized with awards such as the Dr. D. Laurence Wilson Professionalism Award (2020) and the Outstanding Mid-Career Physician Award (2023). Dr. Digby leads multiple committees, including the Physician Quality Committee and the Department of Medicine Quality Improvement and Patient Safety Committee, demonstrating her commitment to advancing healthcare systems and patient outcomes.
