Rajesh Nimmagadda is a CONNECT Research Fellow at Trinity College Dublin, specializing in computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and thermal management technologies. His work bridges experimental and numerical studies to advance electronics cooling solutions. Education: PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad Research Interests: Rajesh focuses on nanofluid heat transfer in micro-channels, CFD-driven thermal optimization for sustainable aviation, and battery modeling for electric vehicles. His expertise includes advanced cooling systems and multiphysics simulations. Projects & Collaborations: He has led CFD-based projects with Huawei Sweden and Toyota Research Institute of North America, developing heatsinks for electronics cooling. Currently, he works on Research Ireland’s 2050 Challenge project targeting battery thermal management. Grants & Funding: Israeli Nuclear Research Authority Israeli Science Foundation Scientific Contributions: With over 20 publications and an h-index of 13, his research is centered on thermal-fluid systems and sustainable energy technologies.
