Dr. Martin Andreoni serves as an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Khalifa University and Principal Researcher at the Secure Systems Research Center (SSRC) within the Technology Innovation Institute (TII) in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Previously, he worked as a researcher at Samsung R&D Institute Brazil. Dr. Andreoni holds the following academic qualifications: PhD jointly awarded by Sorbonne Université (LIP6), France and Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (COPPE/UFRJ), Brazil (2018) Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (COPPE/UFRJ), Brazil (2014) Bachelor of Science in Electronic Engineering from Universidad Nacional de San Juan (UNSJ), Argentina (2011) His research focuses on integrating machine learning with security frameworks for autonomous systems and networks. Key interests include Security, Machine Learning, Network Security, and Secure Autonomous Systems, with emphasis on developing robust security solutions for emerging autonomous technologies through advanced machine learning techniques. Dr. Andreoni holds significant leadership roles in academic communities including Workshop Chair for ACNS'24 and three-year co-chair of SPICES organizing committee (2022-2024). He serves on Technical Program Committees for SBRC, SBSeg, IEEE NoF, IEEE CsNet, IEEE CIoT 2023, ICIN, IFIP Network, IEEE IWCMC 2023, and ICLR 2025, while also contributing as Guest Editor for IEEE JSAC Special Issue and Associate Editor for Annals of Telecommunications (2024). At TII, Dr. Andreoni contributes to cutting-edge research within the Secure Systems Research Center (SSRC), focusing on security architectures for autonomous systems and next-generation network security solutions.
