Prof. Azzam Mourad is a Visiting Professor of Computer Science at Khalifa University in Abu Dhabi, with a focus on emerging technologies and cybersecurity. He has led numerous research and industrial projects, contributing to over 160 publications in top-tier venues.

His research spans Cybersecurity, Federated Machine Learning, Applied AI, and optimization of Intelligent Service/Network/Computation in domains like Internet of Things, Cloud/Fog/Edge Computing, and Vehicular/Mobile Systems.
Prof. Mourad has received major international, national, and local grants to support his graduate students and research. He is affiliated with Khalifa University’s research centers and leads a team of 12 postdoctoral fellows, Ph.D., and M.Sc. students across multiple institutions including Lebanese American University and Polytechnique Montreal.
