Marcel Capparozza is a Research Assistant at the Tübingen Center for Digital Education (TueCeDE) since May 2023, focusing on digital education and teacher training. He previously held roles at the Institute for Educational Analyses Baden-Württemberg (IBBW) as Speaker for Transfer Research and Promotion (2020–2023), and at the Leibniz Institute for Knowledge Media (IWM) in the BMBF-funded 'Digitalization in Education' project (2018–2023). His work centers on integrating digital media into education, with a focus on teacher competencies and curriculum design. His research has been published in anthologies and conference proceedings, emphasizing systematic reviews and critical analyses of digital education frameworks. Notable contributions include studies on web-based teacher training, digital media in school practice, and media-didactic competencies in teacher education. He holds an MSc in Psychology of Education from Freiburg University of Education and has completed state examinations in teaching for elementary, secondary, and vocational schools.
