Professor Peter Friedland is an Associate Professor and Garnett Passe Rodney Williams Memorial Foundation Chair in Otolaryngology at the University of Western Australia (UWA), based in the School of Surgery. He is Head of the Department of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Skullbase Surgery at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital. His clinical and academic roles emphasize surgical excellence, medical education, and social responsibility, particularly in providing care to underserved populations in South Africa.
