Prof. Simeon Schudy is a Full Professor of Applied Economics and Data Science at Ulm University (tenured since 2023). Previously, he held interim professorships in Behavioral and Experimental Economics at LMU Munich from 2016–2023. He earned his PhD from the University of Konstanz and held postdoctoral positions at the Thurgau Institute of Economics and Konstanz. His research focuses on labor and organizational economics, political economy, and behavioral decision-making, combining experimental, survey, and administrative data approaches. Key interests include sustainable organizational structures, technological change's impact on incentives, and leadership dynamics. Research Interests: Behavioral Economics, Experimental Methods, Organizational Dynamics, Political Economy, and Sustainable Decision-Making. Notable contributions include work on dishonesty in groups, tournament incentives for teams, and the efficacy of honesty oaths. He is a CESifo Research Fellow and serves on the Editorial Board of Leadership Quarterly . Grants & Collaborations: Funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG) for the CRC TRR 190 'Rationality and Competition' project, and the Diligentia Foundation for studies on leadership ethics. Active in applied projects with industry partners. Memberships: German Economic Association's Committees for Organizational Economics and Social Sciences, Munich Risk and Insurance Center, and LMU Munich's Ethics Committee (2016–2023).
