Lecturer Esra Sunerli Topan serves at Uşak University in the Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Textile and Fashion Design , while also contributing to the Leather, Textile and Ceramic Design Application and Research Center since 2019. Her academic journey includes a Competence in Art from Dokuz Eylul University (2020), an MSc in Fashion Design from Anadolu University (2017), and Bachelor's degrees from Anadolu and Dokuz Eylul Universities (2014). Research Focus: Textile and Fashion Design with emphasis on sustainability, digital technologies, and surface design innovation. Industry Collaboration: Works on leather garment comfort properties, sublimation printing methods, and waste transformation projects with Uşak prison. Her publications highlight trends in sustainable design practices (natural dyes, recycled materials), digital illustration tools like Procreate, and cross-disciplinary approaches blending technology with traditional textile arts. Recent projects explore the intersection of flora-inspired motifs and creative surface design across leather, textile, and ceramic mediums. She actively participates in artistic exhibitions and conferences, showcasing works from bio-diversity themed art to collaborative design studies in leather sustainability.
