Vegar Ottesen is the Head of the Department of Biotechnology at the University of Innlandet's Faculty of Applied Ecology, Agricultural Sciences and Biotechnology since April 2, 2024. He previously contributed to regional research funds as a Senior Advisor at Innlandet County Council (2021-2024) and worked as a postdoctoral fellow and researcher at NTNU (2018-2021), focusing on biopolymeric nanomaterials and inorganic nanoparticles for corona tests.
