Dr. Andrea Ng is a Lecturer in Early Childhood Education at the School of Social Sciences, Media, Film and Education, Swinburne University of Technology. Her work bridges research, teaching, and policy in early childhood and primary education, with a strong emphasis on STEAM integration and teacher development. Her research focuses on how educators integrate STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) into early childhood and primary curricula, particularly in Australian and Southeast Asian contexts. She investigates challenges faced by pre-service and in-service teachers and explores innovative solutions, including the use of generative artificial intelligence and the World Café methodology for participatory research. Her work supports Sustainable Development Goals 4 (Quality Education) and 10 (Reduced Inequalities).
