Zimo Wang is an Assistant Professor at the School of Systems Science and Industrial Engineering, Binghamton University. He holds a PhD in Industrial Engineering from Texas A&M University (2020), an MS in Mechatronics Engineering, and a BS in Industrial Engineering, both from Harbin Institute of Technology, China. His research focuses on smart manufacturing, integrating sensors, AI, and data science to enhance manufacturing processes, including additive manufacturing, precision machining, and material characterization. He explores applications in autonomous systems, smart logistics via UAVs, and sustainable manufacturing.
