Mirko Kovac

Mirko Kovac is Professor at Imperial College London's Faculty of Engineering and heads the Laboratory of Sustainability Robotics at Empa and EPFL. His research focuses on aerial robotics for distributed sensing and autonomous manufacturing in natural environments, with expertise in robot design and multi-modal mobility.

His research interests include bio-inspired aerial systems, robot-assisted construction, environmental monitoring, and multi-modal locomotion. Key innovations include aerial additive manufacturing systems and amphibious robots for ecological assessment.
