Zoran Sunik is a Professor of Mathematics at Hofstra University. His academic journey began at Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje, Macedonia, where he earned his BS and MS degrees and held his first academic position in Computer Science. He later obtained a PhD in Mathematics from Binghamton University (SUNY) in 2000. After postdoctoral roles at Cornell University and the University of Nebraska, he spent 15 years at Texas A&M University, expanding his research to include statistics and network modeling. His current research spans algebra, topology, combinatorics, discrete geometry, automata theory, probability, and interdisciplinary collaborations with engineering and health professions disciplines.
