Zoraida DeCastro Beekhoo serves as an Associate Professor, Teaching Stream at the Lawrence Bloomberg Faculty of Nursing, University of Toronto, where she instructs undergraduate courses including Complexity: Issues Surrounding Cardiovascular Nursing and Introduction to Acute Care Nursing: Adult. She pioneered the Agency Based Curriculum (ABC) Program in 2006, establishing longitudinal clinical partnerships with Mount Sinai Hospital, St. Michael's Hospital, University Health Network, and Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre.
