Zora M. Wolfe is an Associate Professor and Associate Dean of the College of Health & Human Services at Widener University. She also serves as Interim Director of the Center for Education and Graduate Program Director. Her academic roles are complemented by extensive K-12 leadership experience, including founding a charter high school and holding principal certifications. Wolfe holds an EdD from the University of Pennsylvania, an MA from Columbia University, and a BS from Binghamton University–SUNY.
Her research focuses on organizational leadership, collaborative inquiry communities, and instructional technology in online education. Wolfe emphasizes bridging theory and practice in educational leadership, particularly in supporting faculty, graduate students, and K-12 educators through professional development. Her publications span topics like AI in education, first-generation doctoral student support, and online teaching strategies.
Wolfe’s work has been featured in journals such as Journal of Adolescent & Adult Literacy and Excelsior, and she contributes to professional development initiatives globally. She is actively involved in Widener’s K-12 Educational Leadership programs and has collaborated on pandemic-era online teaching strategies with faculty across disciplines.
