Dr. Zoe Brookes is an Associate Professor of Dental Education and Research and Associate Head of School for Teaching and Learning at the Peninsula Dental School, University of Plymouth. Her roles include overseeing the BDS and DTH curricula, leading the Oral Microbiome Research Group, and serving as Treasurer for the British Society of Oral and Dental Research. She is recognized for her contributions to integrative healthcare education and research, including pioneering work on oral microbiome-cardiovascular links and mouthwash efficacy. Her team collaborates with industry partners like Haleon and Oralieve, and she leads blood pressure case-finding clinics through Peninsula Dental Social Enterprise.
