Zoe Adams is a Fellow and Admissions Tutor at King’s College, Cambridge, and an Affiliated Lecturer in Law at the University of Cambridge. She holds a BA, MA, LLM, and PhD in Law, with a critical focus on the relationship between law and capitalism. Her work spans labour law, legal methodology, social ontology, and law and economics.

Her research emphasizes the historical development of UK labour law, particularly wage regulation, industrial relations, and the legal challenges of the "future of work." Zoe has published two monographs: Labour and the Wage (2020) and The Legal Concept of Work (2023), both with Oxford University Press. Her work has received significant recognition, including the Zeigler Prize (2013), Yorke Prize (2019), and shortlists for SLSA book awards.
Recent publications examine algorithmic management regulation, minimum wage directives, and the implications of open justice in employment tribunal judgments. Zoe also engages in teaching and governance roles, including membership on University Council and King’s College committees.
