Ziwen Jiang is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at the University of Texas at Dallas (UT Dallas), affiliated with the School of Natural Sciences and Mathematics. They hold the CPRIT Scholar in Cancer Research title and maintain a lab website and NCBI bibliography. Their research focuses on protein-based therapeutics and organelle homeostasis, particularly leveraging autophagy mechanisms and biomaterials for targeted intracellular degradation.
Education includes a B.Sc. from Nanjing University (2012), Ph.D. from University of Massachusetts Amherst (2019), and postdoctoral training at UCSF (2019–2024). Awards include NIH Postdoctoral Fellowship (2020–2023) and multiple presentation/poster awards at international conferences.
Research interests span synthetic autophagy receptors, antibody-fusion proteins, and nanoparticle-driven drug delivery. The Jiang Lab explores interdisciplinary approaches at the intersection of chemistry, biology, and materials science to advance precision medicine and cancer therapeutics.
