Zita Sebesvari is affiliated with the United Nations University Institute for Environment and Human Security (UNU-EHS) in Bonn, Germany, where she holds a Researcher position within the Environmental Vulnerability & Energy Security Section. Her roles include managing the WISDOM project and supervising UNU-EHS PhD researchers. She has been with UNU-EHS since April 2007.
Education:
- PhD in Ecology from the University of Oldenburg (2003–2007)
- Studies in Ecology at the University of Essen (1996–2002)
Research Focus: Her work centers on pesticide monitoring, pesticide modeling, and the impacts of climate change. She has contributed to interdisciplinary projects addressing environmental vulnerability in regions like the Mekong Delta, integrating hydrology, policy analysis, and socio-economic assessments.
