Pham Van Toan is a PhD researcher at the United Nations University Institute for Environment and Human Security (UNU-EHS) in Bonn, Germany, focusing on environmental vulnerability and pesticide monitoring in the Mekong Delta. Previously, he served as a Lecturer at the Department of Environmental Engineering and Water Resources, Faculty of Technology, Can Tho University, Vietnam (1999–2004 and 2006–2007). His current research within the WISDOM project examines pesticide use and its impacts in the Lower Mekong region.
