Zihong Liu

Zihong Liu is a Researcher at the Institute for Theoretical Physics of TU Dresden, Germany, affiliated with the Emmy Noether Junior Research Group Quantum Critical Matter. His work focuses on quantum critical systems, including frustrated magnets, interacting semimetals, and emergent gauge field theories.

The group investigates the nature of quantum critical points (QCPs), characteristic excitations, and novel quantum phases stabilized near QCPs. Methodologically, they integrate developments from condensed matter, high-energy, and statistical physics, as well as quantum information theory.
