Zhiyong Lin, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Sociology and Demography at the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA), within the College for Health, Community and Policy (HCAP). His research focuses on aging, social determinants of health, caregiving, race/ethnicity, and gender/sexuality. Dr. Lin holds a Ph.D. in Sociology from the University of Maryland, College Park, along with an M.A. and B.A. in Sociology from the same institution and Tsinghua University, respectively.
