Zhi-Xun Shen is the Paul Pigott Professor in Physical Sciences at Stanford University, holding appointments in the Physics, Applied Physics, and Photon Science departments. He also serves as a senior fellow at the Precourt Institute for Energy, advisor for science and technology at SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory, and member of Stanford's Knight-Hennessy Scholars faculty advisory board.
