Zerina Tomkins is an Associate Professor at Monash University's School of Nursing and Midwifery, affiliated with the Victorian Heart Institute. She specializes in bridging environmental science with maternal and child health resilience in the context of climate change. Her work is informed by experiences during the 2019-2020 Australian Black Summer Bushfires, focusing on human-centered solutions to strengthen climate adaptation.
