Zeinab Taha is a Professor in the Department of Applied Linguistics and Educational Studies at The American University in Cairo (AUC), holding a PhD from Georgetown University (1995) with over 30 years of experience in Teaching Arabic as a Foreign Language (TAFL). She previously served as director of the Arabic Language Institute (ALI) and co-director of the Center for Arabic Studies Abroad (CASA) at AUC.
