Zbigniew Stanuch

Zbigniew Stanuch is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Art, Department of Sculpture and Ceramics, Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin. He graduated from the sculpture studio of Prof. Sławomir Mieleszko in 1994 and earned his doctorate (2008) and habilitation (2018) from the Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław.

His research and artistic practice focus on Sculpture, Ceramics, and Monumental Art, blending chamber sculpture with large-scale installations. He has participated in 53 group exhibitions and held 17 solo exhibitions, showcasing his expertise in visual and artistic education.

• Finalist, 12th International Autumn Art Salon (2014)

As head of the Department of Sculpture and Ceramics at UMCS, he contributes to academic and artistic innovation while mentoring emerging talent in the studio of Prof. Adam Myjak.
