Aleksandra Liput

Aleksandra Liput (born 1989) serves as a Lecturer and doctoral candidate at the Faculty of Painting, Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. Her artistic practice spans ceramics, soft sculptures, objects, and installations, with exhibitions at Zachęta National Gallery of Art, Polish Sculpture Centre in Orońsko, and Labirynt Gallery in Lublin.

Liput explores fear, trauma inheritance, and spirituality through Slavic folk medicine metaphors, using ceramics, glass, fabric, and wood to evoke childhood superstitions. Her 2024 exhibition 'Heartworm' at SIC! BWA Wrocław juxtaposes historical illness beliefs with contemporary realities, aiming to absolve the sick of blame.

Liput co-founded the curatorial duo DZIDY and has exhibited at major institutions including Arsenal Gallery in Poznań and Foksal Gallery Foundation.
