Zanda Bokvalde is an Acting Lecturer and Ph.D. student in the Department of Conservative Dentistry and Oral Health at Riga Stradiņš University (RSU). Her research focuses on dental imaging techniques, bone graft materials, age determination via dental analysis, and periapical lesion diagnostics. She has presented at multiple conferences, including studies on legal age determination using third molar maturity indices and mandibular condyle analysis, as well as ultrasound applications in dental procedures.
Education: Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Conservative Dentistry and Oral Health at RSU.
Research Interests: Her work integrates forensic dentistry, dental radiology, and clinical outcomes of bone grafting. She employs Cone-Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) for volumetric stability assessments and comparative diagnostic methods for periapical lesions.
Activities: Presented 11 academic activities since 2018, including posters on age estimation tools like spheno-occipital synchondrosis and oral presentations on middle mesial root canal variations in mandibular molars.
