Aleksandra Kārkle is an Acting Lecturer and Ph.D. student in the Department of Conservative Dentistry and Oral Health at Rīga Stradiņš University, Faculty of Dentistry. Her academic and clinical work focuses on endodontics, oral health, and regenerative dental procedures. She is actively contributing to research in diagnostic imaging, bone regeneration, and developmental dental anomalies.
Her research interests include endodontic microsurgery, bone regeneration using platelet-rich fibrin, diagnostic imaging (CBCT, ultrasound), and non-syndromic tooth agenesis. She has led and contributed to multiple peer-reviewed studies, with recent publications in high-impact journals such as Diagnostics and Journal of Clinical Medicine.
The analysis of her recent articles reveals a strong focus on clinical dentistry, particularly in evaluating treatment outcomes, diagnostic accuracy of imaging techniques, and the biological aspects of healing after endodontic surgery.
