Zaheer Baber is a Professor at the University of Toronto Mississauga in the Department of Sociology. His research bridges social theory, science and technology studies, and comparative/historical sociology, with a focus on race and racial projects, visual sociology, and environmental sociology. He is affiliated with the Institute of Communication, Culture and Information Technology, Munk School of Global Affairs and Public Policy, and Centre for South Asian Civilizations.
