Daniyal Zuberi is a Professor of Social Policy with joint appointments at the Factor-Inwentash Faculty of Social Work and the Munk School of Global Affairs & Public Policy at the University of Toronto. He previously held positions at Harvard University as the William Lyon Mackenzie King Research Fellow (2011-2012) and at the University of British Columbia in Sociology.

Zuberi's work examines urban poverty, inequality, healthcare systems, and immigrant experiences, particularly in Canada and the United States. His research analyzes how social policies impact vulnerable populations through lenses of labor rights, housing access, and healthcare delivery.
