Research in the Donhauser Group emphasizes molecular-scale biophysics, nanoscale material characterization, and the development of AFM techniques for molecular interrogation. The lab’s projects bridge interdisciplinary areas, leveraging AFM alongside optical microscopy and computational tools.
Vassar College secured a $156,000 Beckman Scholars Award (2021) to support student-led research under faculty mentorship, reflecting Dr. Donhauser’s commitment to undergraduate research training. He maintains an active laboratory in the Bridge for Laboratory Sciences and collaborates across disciplines to advance nanotechnology applications.
