Yves Zenou is a Professor of Economics at Stockholm University and the Research Institute of Industrial Economics. He has held visiting positions at institutions such as the University of California, Berkeley, and has previously been affiliated with the University of Southampton, CERAS (ENPC, Paris), Université Pantheon-Assas, and CORE (Louvain-La-Neuve). His research spans theoretical and empirical analyses across seven key areas: social interactions/network theory, search/matching theory, urban economics, ethnic minority segregation/discrimination, immigrant identity/assimilation, criminality, and education.
He currently serves as Editor of Regional Science and Urban Economics and Associate Editor for multiple journals including the Journal of Public Economic Theory and Scandinavian Journal of Economics. His awards include two dissertation prizes in 1992, a Marie Curie Fellowship, multiple David C. Lincoln Fellowships, and the Oliver E. Williamson Prize in 2011.
