Yvan Guindon is a full-time Professor in the Department of Chemistry at the Université de Montréal, with a research laboratory at the Institut de recherches cliniques de Montréal (IRCM). He has held leadership roles in pharmaceutical research centers such as Merck Frosst and Bio-Mega-Boehringer/Ingelheim Recherche before directing IRCM from 1994 to 2004.
