Yusuke Marikawa is a Professor in the Department of Anatomy, Biochemistry and Physiology at the University of Hawaii. He joined the university in 2000 and contributes to graduate programs in Developmental and Reproductive Biology (DRB) and Cell and Molecular Biology (CMB).
Research Interests: Dr. Marikawa focuses on elucidating molecular mechanisms for mammalian embryo body patterning and advancing developmental and reproductive toxicity (DART) assessments using stem cell-based in vitro embryogenesis models. His work bridges developmental biology with toxicology to improve chemical safety evaluations.
