Yusuf Abdullahi

Dr. Yusuf Abdullahi serves as the iCARE Programme Manager within the Department of Surgery & Cancer at Imperial College London's Faculty of Medicine. With over 10 years of NHS experience and a PhD from Imperial College London completed between 2014-2018, he specializes in patient-centered care and research evaluation with particular focus on cardiac surgery outcomes.

His research interests span Cardiorespiratory Medicine and Haematology, Clinical Sciences, Medical Biotechnology, and Public Health. Dr. Abdullahi has developed expertise in Clinical Medicine Research, Clinical Governance, Infection Prevention and Control, Outcomes Assessment, Real-World Evidence, and Translational Analytics. His work emphasizes patient safety and experiences, focusing on both patient-reported and clinician-reported outcomes through co-production with patients, lay partners, and commissioners.
