Alex Almoudaris

Alex Almoudaris serves as an Honorary Clinical Research Fellow at Imperial College London's Department of Surgery & Cancer within the Faculty of Medicine. With a background spanning medical training, surgical specialization, and advanced research, he focuses on measuring and improving surgical performance through both quantitative metrics and qualitative behavioral analysis. Dr. Almoudaris completed his undergraduate medical training and BSc in Surgery and Anaesthesia at Imperial College London starting in 1998. He undertook Basic Surgical Training and Higher Specialist Training in London, achieving Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons in England (FRCS) and Completion of Surgical Training (CCT). His academic credentials include a PhD with thesis titled "High Performance in Surgery," funded by an NIHR grant.
