Oliver Anderson is an Honorary Clinical Research Fellow in the Department of Surgery & Cancer at Imperial College London's Faculty of Medicine. His research focuses on design for patient safety, medical device innovation, and reducing clinical errors through multidisciplinary collaboration. He leads the DOME project, partnering with the Helen Hamlyn Centre for Design (Royal College of Art), Imperial Business School, and industry to translate patient safety research into clinical practice. His work addresses nasogastric tube safety and medical device implementation, supported by grants from EPSRC, Scottish Enterprise, and the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR).
