Yuhong Zhao is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Law, The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), specializing in Chinese environmental law, civil law, and comparative legal systems. She joined CUHK in September 2006 and holds a Fellowship at United College. Her academic credentials include a BA and LLB from Peking University, an MSL from Vermont Law School, and a PhD from City University of Hong Kong.
Her research spans environmental law frameworks, climate policy development, and Chinese marriage law, with a focus on practical implementation of circular economy principles, soil contamination regulation, and environmental dispute resolution.
