Yuho Kim is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physical Therapy & Kinesiology at the University of Massachusetts Lowell, with an affiliate role in the Department of Biomedical and Nutritional Sciences. His research focuses on mitochondrial dysfunction in neuromuscular and cardiac disorders, employing molecular, functional, and imaging analyses in cell and animal models. He holds editorial and review roles for journals like Frontiers in Physiology and serves on professional committees.
Education: Ph.D. in Exercise Science (Syracuse University, 2015), M.S. in Molecular Biology (Utah State University, 2011), and prior degrees from Kyung Hee University (South Korea). Postdoctoral training included NIH/NHLBI and York University.
