Dr Yue Zhou is a Lecturer in Finance at Southampton Business School, University of Southampton. Her research focuses on empirical corporate finance and banking, examining regulatory reforms, risk-taking behaviors, financial reporting quality, and corporate governance.
- Current research explores banks' responses to climate change.
- Active member of the Centre for Empirical Research in Finance and Banking.
Recent Publications (2019-2025): Interdisciplinary work on mutual fund performance during the pandemic, bank deregulation impacts, Dodd-Frank act compliance, and systemic risk analysis across 20 countries.
