Dr. YuanYuan Wang is a Senior Research Fellow at Monash University's School of Public Health and Preventive Medicine, specializing in clinical epidemiology of musculoskeletal conditions, particularly osteoarthritis. Over 20 years of experience includes leading randomized controlled trials for novel treatments of knee and hand osteoarthritis. Her research, supported by NHMRC and Arthritis Australia, has contributed to understanding osteoarthritis pathogenesis and preventive strategies.
Education: PhD, Swinburne University of Technology (2007) on knee cartilage and bone morphologies; Master of Medicine, Dalian Medical University (1998); MBBS, Peking University (1993).
Research focuses on osteoarthritis epidemiology, low back pain, obesity, and clinical trials.
