Dr. Yu-Fen Lin is an Associate Professor in the Department of Counseling at the University of North Texas at Dallas. She holds a Ph.D. in Counselor Education from Sam Houston State University (CACREP-accredited), an M.S. in Counseling from Texas A&M-Commerce, and a Master of Divinity in Theology from Taiwan Theological College & Seminary.
Research Interests: Her work focuses on
- Wellness and mental health
- Diversity and multicultural counseling
- Intersections of gender, spirituality, and daily life
- Social justice advocacy
- Innovative counseling pedagogy
Professional Contributions: She has received grants such as the HOPE project funded by SAMHSA and presented at numerous conferences including topics like "Supporting Asian American Pacific community in a hate crime arisen era" and "Cultivating wellness in a pandemic."
