Dr. Youli Zou is an Assistant Professor of Accounting at the University of Connecticut’s School of Business. She joined UConn in 2020 after seven years on the faculty at George Washington University. Her research focuses on stakeholders’ roles in shaping financial reporting, regulatory impacts on economic outcomes, and banking practices during crises. She teaches undergraduate courses in financial accounting, including Principles of Financial Accounting and Intermediate Accounting series.

Her articles appear in top journals such as The Accounting Review and Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis.
