Yoshua Bengio is a Full Professor at Université de Montréal, Canada CIFAR AI Chair (2018–present), and founder of Mila – Quebec AI Institute. He co-directs the CIFAR Learning in Machines & Brains program and serves as Scientific Director of IVADO. A Fellow of the Royal Society of London and Canada, and Officer of the Order of Canada, Bengio is a pioneer in deep learning and co-recipient of the 2018 A.M. Turing Award.
