Yoshimichi Sato is Dean of the Faculty of Humanities at Kyoto University of Advanced Science and Professor of Sociology at Tohoku University. He holds a distinguished career in sociological research with a focus on Game Theory applications, social stratification, and institutional analysis. His academic journey includes fellowships at the University of Chicago and Cornell University, where he developed expertise in computational sociology and rational choice theory.
Education: Completed graduate studies at the University of Tokyo's Graduate School of Sociology. Research highlights include studies on social exclusion mechanisms, labor market inequality between regular and non-regular workers, and the role of institutions in shaping social outcomes.
