Chizu Sato is a Lecturer and Researcher in the Cultural Geography group at Wageningen University, affiliated with the Sociology of Consumption and Households department. She specializes in transnational feminism, political ecology, and international development, focusing on gendered dimensions of socio-ecological wellbeing. Her work examines empowerment strategies among women in global South and North contexts, emphasizing interdependencies between human and nonhuman actors.
