Yoosun Chung is an Associate Professor in the Division of Special Education and disAbility Research at the College of Education and Human Development, George Mason University. Her work focuses on Assistive Technology (AT) and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), particularly for individuals with disabilities.

- Ph.D. in Special Education with a focus on AT, George Mason University
Her research explores the integration of AT and AAC in educational and independent living contexts, emphasizing inclusivity and accessibility for individuals with cerebral palsy and other communication barriers. She has authored studies on AAC system utilization, scam prevention tools for neurodiverse populations, and disaster preparedness for AAC users.
